Parradusteko partaideak oso entusiastak dira eta hainbat lekuetan “mixed session” izendatzen diren aireak eta kantak interpretatzen dituzten bileretan bildurik, hizkuntzak ere uztartzen dituzte; gaelge-a, euskera, ingelesa, eskoziarra… Gaelikoz deituriko Seisiún horretan, Parradustek jarraian lotzen ditu euskal tradiziozko kantak, irlandako erritmoak edota zelten tradizioko beste aire batzuk.Barry Foy-k, bere “Field Guide to the Irish Music Session” liburuan seisiún-aren gainean egiten duen deskribapenarekin bat dator Parradust-en espiritua. …a gathering of Irish traditional musicians for the purpose of celebrating their common interest in the music by playing it together in a relaxed, informal setting, while in the process generally beefing up the mystical cultural mantra that hums along uninterruptedly beneath all manifestations of Irishness worldwide. Parradust is not an expert group in this field. Parradust do not posses a degree in ethno-musicology, nor do they have a lifetime of Irish Session playing experience. They do not have a platinum album, or a thousand tunes in his head. They weren’t even born in Ireland but Parradust plays the music he loves.

Parradust: me da igual en el euskalki de Aramaio. Desde 2009 un grupo de músicos unidos por la música tradicional de Irlanda y Euskadi. La alboka y el whistle, la triki y la uilleann juntos cabalgando sobre acordes acústicos y dobles cuerdas de violín. Amenizando las noches en distintas localidades del País Vasco. Es de destacar su participación tanto en el Herri Urrats celebrado en Senpere en junio del 2012 así como su inclusión en la programación del “Euskararen eguna” celebrado también en el 2010 en Izarra. En definitiva, las sesiones musicales de Parradust son fácilmente comparables con una agradable tarde en compañía de los amigos donde la camaradería, la buena conversación y el buen humor son componentes esenciales.
